Thanks YogaChick, i know it's often hard to get involved especially when the circumstances may mean future..ahem... issues. It's very important especially when we have gone through great lengths as a society to put in place laws to discourage this type of behavior. Still, you're brave and admirable for acting as an animal advocate and concerned citizen.

Oh wow.. *Blushes* Guys, (and gals) I only did what you told me to do. I think he might really get nasty. So.. I don't know what to do. It just makes me sick to my tummy to think someone would shoot an animal for making it's natural noises.. blah. Thanks for the support though, life before VRF was so sad, alone, and almost like vegan hell..Now I have people that agree with me about veganism. Whereas before, no one in my life even believed veganism was possible with out starving to death..No one cared about animals (not enough to not shoot and/or not eat them)

So, in return for praising me for defending the geese (that spend most of their time on my lake, eating MY left over VEGAN bread) I just want to say

Thank you so much to the wonderful people here at VRF

For letting me see that there are humane forms of life on this earth. Before VRF I was an outcast because I knew animals felt pain. Now I'm not.

If it makes you feel any better, the guy can't do anything to you for which the authorities won't immediately consider him the suspect. Also, as time passes the chances of him blowing a gasket and doing something stupid will go down.

Ditto what everyone else said about actually being brave enough to Do Something. If that guy works for the game dept, he should know you can't go around randomly killing protected migratory waterfowl out of season.
