Oceans for Everyone
When: Sunday February 15 @ 2:00 to 5:00 PM
Where: Washington State Convention Center, Downtown Seattle (Rooms 2A and 2B)
The meeting, titled “Oceans for Everyone,” will take place at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle on Sunday, 15 February from 2:00pm-5:00pm. We expect to have between 300 and 350 participants. In addition, COMPASS (SeaWeb), the Pacific Science Center, Partnership for Interdisciplinary Studies of Coastal Oceans (PISCO), People for Puget Sound, Puget Sound Action Team, SeaChange, the Seattle Aquarium, the University of Washington and other groups are partnering in support of this event.
In addition to members of the general public, we expect that the town hall event will be attended by marine science experts, scientists from other disciplines and members of marine science interest groups concerned about the health of our oceans.
