    new vegan Vietnamese restaurant????

    From food fight site....

    Recon Needed ASAP
"I was taking the bus yesterday to do some far-off errands and found myself
cruising down 82nd Avenue. At the corner of 82nd & NE Fremont I spotted
a "vegan Vietnamese" restaurant having its grand opening. I wish I'd had
something to write down the name. It's in the same complex as a Shell gas
    station. "

    Anybody? Holla back.

Vietnamese vegan food sounds great! I've had it once or twice and loved it. I hope your new restaurant is wonderful.

Not to sound to portland spoiled but we already have veitnamese vegan place. It's called Van Hann and the lemongrass sticks are off the hook. A second one is just gravy.

So we check out Nhut Quang (new vegan Vietnamese place) it was really good, strange location (next to a 76 gas station). The menu is almost identical to Van Hahn, they have a small section where you can buy fake meat to go and the staff where really really nice and friendly.

Dude Ninja themed resturant is a great idea. I would eat there. You could have a TV playing Godfrey Ho(he made these awful movies 40 of which have ninja in the title) and Sho Kusugi ninja movies on a loop. That is actually a fun idea. Probably have to do japanese food though. Serve veggie burgers and fries with the american ninja marathon.

Randall and I went last night.

Same food as Van Han. Smaller portions, better service. I'll go back to van han, more food is more important to me than smiling faces.

One thing that was strange. We were driving down 82nd and from like 10 from burnside in a circle there was no power, no street lights, no nothing. it was errie as hell.

There are slight differences but yeah it is a lot like Van Han. The "crab" noodle soup is really good. The guy that owns it is super nice, we go every Friday.
