Artists for Animals needs Volunteers to help with the show!

NARN's fabulous 3rd Annual Artists for Animals is coming up fast on August 13th, and we still need people to help with the Art Show, and at the Sunset Tavern during the musical part of the event. We need help for the following things:

handing out flyers, setting up and being in charge of the food table at Sev Shoon, staffing the "cashier" table, which requires accepting money & documenting the art purchases, clean-up at Sev Shoon after the art show, getting raffle prizes for the raffle at the Sunset, and much more!

We also need people to sit at the Sev Shoon gallery from 12-4pm on August 20th, 27th, and Sept. 3rd.

Please contact pauseforanimals@juno.com if you can help

This is the 3rd annual Artists for Animals - http://narn.org/artistsforanimals/index.shtml, a fundraiser for Northwest Animal Rights Network. It is a VERY EXCITING & FUN event, so please be sure to come (and bring everyone you know with you!) We have over 40 participating artists with works on display at Sev Shoon & the Sunset during the month of August. The night will start off at Sev Shoon for the Opening Reception during the popular Ballard Artwalk. Art will be available for purchase, with 50% of all sales going to NARN. There will be plenty of food and drinks, and a little live music (possibly some break dancers too!) At 9:00 the event will move nearby to the Sunset Tavern where a full lineup of animal-lovin' musicians will be rocking the night away (Liziah, Sugar Thief, Beloved Binge, & So Said They). Meet and have your picture taken with some of the Rat City RollerGirls! There will also be Raffle Prizes--buy your tickets from a Roller Girl--and a FREE compilation CD for the first 50 attendees! Joe Haptas, former NARN coordinator will be the MC for the night. So come, drink some wine, buy some art, listen to music, win some prizes, & support NARN.

Volunteers are still needed for this event - please contact Mary Anne pauseforanimals@juno.com if you can help out.
