I was thinking the same thing!

There are so many flavors to choose from! The Strawberry looks tempting... but I'm a huge fan of Mango... aaaaah, decisions, decisions!

vegporn, do you have a favorite? Is there a best seller?

I'm tempted by strawberry, citrus and tangerine, but those are my usual flavors.. vanilla maybe? everyone likes vanilla..

I'm voting for Vanilla Vulva, it sounds sooooooooo yummy ;)

I'm probably "odd man out" here, but too much vanilla wears on me. I'm not a big fan of vanilla lip gloss, body lotion, etc. I do like the smell though, so obviously I'm just a freak. ;)

I think I'm going to go with Strawberry Snatch, and maybe MuffBerry too... since I already have a mango lip balm at the moment. Pucker up!

Hey Vegpron,
What do you know about Max condoms, are they Vegan?

Kimono and Kimono Maxx condoms are tricky. Writing to the company just gives you a vague answer about how they are tested on animals, and rumor has it that only *some* varieties are made without milk protein. Glyde condoms from Australia are what I carry, and they're vegan and not tested on animals, no vague and confusing policies about what is tested on animals and when. :D

Condomi from Germany is also vegan, but they're not FDA-cleared (meaning they don't want to pay the FDA a bribe) and can't technically be sold here. Although, some sex shops and vegan places are still selling them. (There's nothing unsafe about them, though, as Europe has high condoms standards than us.)

I've been wanting to put a good guide on my domain vegancondoms.com, but almost no companies have gotten back to me about their products. I can say for certain, though, that Kiss Kondoms have casein. :umm: I was so crossing my fingers for those!

I'm using Clitoris Citrus now, and the best sellers are Muffberry, Vanilla Vulva, and Strawberry Snatch.

well maybe i'll just make this an excuse to *finally* place an order!
i have been wanting to try the vegan condoms and lube for a long time but have had reservations. however after talking to others who've used it i think i'm more convinced of the reliability.
btw, vegporn - just out of curiosity, is there a difference in reliability (percentage) of veg*n condoms vs non?
i should order a pucker pot as well... i just have SO much lip gloss that i've been trying to use up (i mean, from years back!) people always buy it for me -- always with beeswax  i try to give it away.

Depends on your location and how much you order. Condoms and small orders go out as first class mail, heavier ones are parcel post. First class tends to take just a few days, parcell post a few longer. If you're really worried about timing, I also have priority mail shipping available for an extra $5, or you can check the post office's web site and check out transit times.

(I'm always surprised how often I'm answering this question.)

The company who manufactures them has never sent me any data comparing them to a condom with milk protein in it. Milk protein is not a key ingredient, and I've never even found a straight answer on what it's doing in condoms. Some say it's an anti-frothing agent in the manufacturing process, some say it's a preservative.

Really, they're not made of tempeh and pressed seaweed. They've been tested and approved for sale by the FDA in the US, they come in little individual wrappers like any other condom, they're just not tested on animals and don't have animal products.

thank you for clarifying :) that question really just revealed my ignorance on the subject. i hadn't a clue that the milk protien wasn't a crucial ingredient in the makeup of a condom (i thought THAT"S what may make them impermeable, etc)
i guess i just thought that if it wasn't an important ingredient, it wouldn't be in almost every condom manufactured... but then again i should know better than to make such an inference (like the question of why are traces of caesin and whey in all those food products for no real purpose but convenience for the producer?!?)
it's just that when it comes to contraception i'll admit that i use what works b/c i know for sure that it works and is reliable for the most part. sooo, thanks again for answering my *naive* questions :D
