Not sure if this is the right place to post, but has anyone read his book and what is it like?

I have it sitting on a shelf and I should get to it sometime soon. FWIW, here's what Erik Marcus has to say about it:

Oops! That Steve Wise.

I've read most of Steven Best's book and it's pretty good. It seems to cover both sides of the debate on "how far to go" pretty well. :)

I'm just reading an excerpt of one here and it seems pretty interesting:

The book I read a good chunk of (and intend to read the rest sometime) was Terrorists or Freedom Fighters...

I wonder if it's the same book. . .

I think your link is an essay (and a damn good one  ).

You've inspired me to put finishing that book back at the top of my reading list. It's a gem. :D

BTW, this thread is probably fine here, but it would also fit in just perfectly in the "Vegan Heroes" forum. :)

Actually, what made me think about it was your first comment that you weren't sure this was the right place. Also, I was remembering how cool Steven Best is while I was reading the links. Other than that, I prolly wouldn't have noticed. :p
