Please join us and the COW (Compassion on Wheels) video van this Thursday, November 13, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for a "Say No to Turkey" event in front of Dominicks at 3012 N. Broadway (2 blocks south of Belmont) in Chicago. Details below...

The event will educate people about what happens to turkeys destined for Thanksgiving dinner tables by showing exerpts from Farm Sanctuary's video "The Making of a Turkey." We will also pass out leaflets and turkey-free recipes, urging people to choose compassion over killing on Thanksgiving (and every day).

Then, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the COW van will show PETA's video "Meet Your Meat," and "Why Vegan?" brochures will be distributed to the public, so you'll want to stick around.

The COW van is an extremely effective outreach tool, consistently drawing crowds of passersby who stop to watch video footage, ask questions, and take leaflets. Also, this Dominicks location gets more foot-traffic than most, so this is a great opportunity to make an impact on a lot of people. We hope to see you there.
