Hi all.
After growing up in a small town in North Carolina, sure that there was something wrong with I and other around me consumed, but unable to place a finger on it, I discovered punk and hardcore music in 1991.

Like any youngster being introduced to such a driving political force, my eyes were opened wide and I started connecting to many, many people who, like myself, couldn't find their place in the world. This eventually led to my introduction into animal rights, mid-90s hardcore / emo, which led me to vegetarianism in 1998. Years previous I had rejected the idea as switching diets as having an effect on corporate outlooks or my personal health.

After rethinking that position, by 2000 I was fully vegan and relocating to Vienna, Austria, where I live, love and work today, in one of the most vegan-friendly locations I've ever experienced. If anyone would like to know more about Vegan Vienna, by all means please ask! I'm always happy to talk food and even surround myself personally and professionally discovering great vegan restaurants, cafes and food around the world.

Best regards,
